SIP Dataset: Sites in Pieces as Disaggregated Construction Phase 3D Scans

The SIP Dataset (Sites in Pieces) is a collection of single-scan 3D LiDAR point clouds captured in active construction environments using a FARO terrestrial laser scanner. Each scene includes the raw scan and detailed per-object annotations, enabling research on semantic segmentation and providing a foundation for broader analysis of construction scene understanding. The dataset provides construction-phase scans with XYZRGB, intensity, and normal information. Object categories include structural elements, temporary construction objects, and mechanical components, supporting fine-grained analysis of jobsite environments.
