A total of 1860 clinical isolates of carbapenem-resistance Pseudomonas aeruginosa were obtained between 2012 and 2018 in 47 prefectures in Japan. The presence of carbapenem resistant genes, including blaVIMs, blaGESs, blaIMPs, blaNDMs and blaOXA, were determined using PCR and sequence. Of them, 25 isolates harbored blaVIMs. The all 25 isolates were analyzed by next generation sequencer.
