C. jejuni subsp. jejuni strain C12-5524 of was isolated from crow (Corvus spp.) in a research aiming at sequencing whole genome of C. jejuni from wild birds in order to provide suitable genome sequences that can be used to understand the genomic diversity of Campylobacter jejuni
