Methanosarcina acetivorans strain:Dmtsmtr3 Raw sequence reads

M. acetivorans strain Dmtsmtr3 was constructed by deleting mtrEH as descibed (doi:0.1073/pnas.2113853119) in strain DmtsDFH (doi:10.1111/j.1365-2958.2009.06723.x), thereby creating a strain that lacks both the Mts system (three methylsulfide-specific methyltransferases, MtsD, MtsF, MtsH) and the energy-converting N5-methyl-tetrahydrosarcinapterin:coenzyme M methyltransferase (Mtr); used to investigate if Mts can substitute Mtr.
