File List AlleleScape.nlogo (MD5: 5886f1d0f94e848e702b196e1a245dc2) Description AlleleScape.nlogo - AlleleScape allows for the simulation of individuals and alleles within spatially explicit heterogeneous landscapes. Users can control the amount and clumpiness of habitat within landscapes as well as the average dispersal distance of individuals. Major emergent population outcomes are (1) abundance, (2) presence/absence, (3) allelic richness, and (4) expected or observed heterozygosity. These outcomes can be measured for the entire landscape or for a focal site embedded in the center of each landscape. This latter measurement enables one to test hypotheses concerning the influence of landscape characteristics measured at different spatial extents surrounding the focal site on local population outcomes. To view the source code, you can either open the file in a text editor or navigate to the “Procedures” tab within NetLogo. To use the model, you must download NetLogo ver. 4.1.3 from the following website:<br> http://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/download.shtml. Then double-click on AlleleScape.nlogo.
