The Department of Health's mission is to achieve the best health and wellbeingfor all Victorians. The Department of Health undertakes planning, policy development and fundingof health care activities to promote and protect the health and wellbeing ofall Victorians. Hospital services, mental health services, aged care andpublic health activities are delivered in partnership with public and privatehealth service providers, local government and non government serviceproviders. The Department's services are delivered through eight outputs encompassingAcute Health Services, Ambulance Services, Mental Health, Ageing, Aged andHome Care, Primary, Community and Dental Health, Small Rural Health, PublicHealth and Drug Services.
