Dataset from the analyses of crinoids preserved in the Upper Jurassic strata of Africa (Etiopia)

This dataset contains raw data from the analyses published in the article entitled: “Ausichicrinites zelenskyyi gen. et sp. nov., a first nearly complete feather star (Crinoidea) from the Upper Jurassic of Africa”, published in: Royal Society Open Science (https://doi.org/10.1098/rsos.220345). These data included crinoid photos that were prepared using a Nikon SMZ1500 and SONY RX10 stereoscopic microscope equipped with a digital DS-Fi1 camera in the Department of Plant Cytology and Embryology, Faculty of Biology, University of Gdańsk, Poland, and the department of Natural Sciences, Institute on Natural Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland.
