Recycling of IT devices

For several years, Infrabel has been keen on giving a second life to its IT and telecommunications devices which no longer meet internal standards. With this in mind, and in order to limit our production of waste, our devices are reused, refurbished or recycled. Reuse and repair are favored for a rapid reintroduction of devices on the market: in Belgium (social stores, circular economy circuits, etc.) but also abroad (schools in disadvantaged neighborhoods, etc.). If reuse or repair are not possible, then it is the recycling path that is followed through approved channels, in order to ensure maximum reuse of raw materials while minimizing our impact on nature.
