Transcriptomes of Borrelia burgdorferi pleomorphic variants (spirochetes, round bodies, blebs and biofilms). Borreliella burgdorferi B31

The aim of this study was to discover transcriptional changes associated with B. burgdorferi pleomorphic forms. We grew spirochete, round body, bleb and biofilm cultures in vitro, harvested their RNA, and recovered their transcriptomes by RNAseq profiling. Our data gives additional insight into the biology of this medically relevant pathogen.
