Chromosomal-level genome of talitrid crustacean (Morinoia aosen) was constructed using HiFi-reads (PacBio), short-reads (Illumina) and Hi-C technology.A total of 239.88 Gb Illumina clean reads produced on the DNBseqTM platform (Illumina, San Diego, USA) were used for genome surveying and assembly correction after removal of low-quality reads and adapters. A total of 118.46 Gb of HiFi reads were generated for genomic contig assembly using hifiasm v0.15.2 with default parameters. The 266 Gb reads from the Hi-C library sequencing were used for chromosome construction after primarily filtered and mapped to the genome. We applied three strategies for gene structure prediction across the genome: homology-based annotation, de novo prediction, and RNAseq-based annotation.This dataset contains four files as bellow:(1) genome assembly file: IZCAS_Maosen_V1.fasta.gz;(2) fasta file of coding gene sequences: IZCAS_Morinoia aosen_genome.chr.cds.fa;(3) fasta file of proteins: IZCAS_Morinoia aosen_genome.chr.pep.fa;(4) GFF annotation file: IZCAS_Morinoia aosen_genome.chr.gff.We also have added seven files related to the study, including the alignment files, phylogenetic trees, and morphological data.
