Seismic data recorded at Base Esperanza in the period 1992 - 1994 are currently
available in PDAS (DADISP) format. The seismic signals have been recorded on
three primary channels at a rate of 2 samples per second and three secondary
channels at a rate of 0.2 samples per sec. The timing is provided through the
PDAS internal clock. The sensor is the BB-13 Teledyne Geotech seismometer which
shows a flat response to acceleration between dc to 20 Hz. The site is a wooden
building located in the Argentinian Base Esperanza in the interior of which the
seismometers are installed on acement pillar anchored to the underlying rocky
ground.
