资源简介:
Water bloom is a serious environmental problem all over the world. Cyanobacteria is one of the most important bloom-forming groups. In this study, a potential freshwater bloom-forming cyanobacterium, Lyngbya hieronymusii CHAB 3367 which is a N2-fixing species and contains gas vesicle protein is sequenced. The nitrogenase (nif) gene cluster and gas vesicle protein (gvp) gene cluster were obtained. Compared with other cyanobacteria, it showed that the nitrogenase gene cluster was very conserved and all the genes in this cluster followed a vertical evolution trail. Horizontal gene transfer phenomenon was detected between this strain and Microcystis species in the gvp gene cluster. This is the first genome data of the freshwater Lyngbya strain.
