资源简介:
Brown adipose tissue has been recognized as an important endocrine organ for metabolic health. In our study, we found that large proteins secreted by brown adipocyte (CB-100) promote the recovery of euglycemia in type 1 diabetic mice (NOD) when injected at an early stage of the disease. To further elucidate the in vivo effects of CB-100, we analyzed brown adipose tissue from both CB-100 and sham-treated mice. Differential gene expression analysis revealed that CB-100 treatment promote the adipocyte proliferation and browning wihtin inguinal white adipose tissue. This suggests that the recovery of euglycemia in CB-100-treated mice may be attributed to the recovery of healty white fat and its browning, which also contributes to glucose clearance Overall design: NOD mice with blood glucose range between 190mg/dL and 230mg/dL were injected with CB-100 (>100kDa size fraction of brown adipocyte conditioned buffer) for 7 days (subcutaneous, 1.5mg/kg BW). After 2-8 weeks of post-injection, RNA was isolated from inguinal white adipose tissue.
