[C4OC] Sustainable cane, grazing, horticulture, fisheries and forestry production within the Mackay Whitsunday Region

This project will provide the technical support required to develop, promote and report on the uptake of proven four tiered ABCD management practice frameworks across five industries in the Mackay Whitsunday region; sugar cane, grazing, horticulture, fisheries and forestry. Industry knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of successful sugar cane and grazing frameworks will be utilised to build comparable programs and industry support in horticulture, fisheries and forestry. Partnerships with industry will identify and validate new A and B class management practices and monitor uptake to enable benchmarking of adoption with land managers. The evolution of innovative management practices will be evaluated and mapped over time, alongside changes in social acceptance of technologies and revisions to ABCD framework descriptions.
