Denovo assembly of Arabidopsis halleri subsp. gemmifera

Arabidopsis halleri subsp. gemmifera is one of the three subspecies of A. halleri that grows in the Russian Far East, northeastern China, Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. In 2008, leaf sample was collected from an individual of A. halleri subsp. gemmifera on Mt. Ibuki, Japan. DNA was extracted from the leaf using a DNeasy Plant Mini Kit (QIAGEN). 300 bp paired-end DNA library was constructed according to the Paired-End Genomic DNA Sample Preparation Kit (Illumina). Paired-end reads were obtained from the Illumina GAIIx sequencer.
