Microstructure of a titanium felt porous transport layer (PTL)
收藏资源简介:
Sample Compressed titanium felt (SylaTech GmbH, Germany) after application at the anode in water electrolys. The original felt structure has a fiber diameter of 20 – 45 μm and a thickness of 1.02 mm. The original porosity before compression was 80 %. X-ray micro-computed tomography (µ-CT) µ-CT device: Procon CT alpha from Procon X-ray GmbH (Germany) Voxel size: 3.9 µm in each dimension Image resolution: 205 × 500 × 500 voxels Image processing Image binarization was done using Otsu's method. Further information can be found in Vorhauer-Huget et al. Data files The dataset includes 2 files, which are the raw 3D image of the PTL and its binarized image: img@raw_res@205x500x500_vxl@3.9x3.9x3.9_uint16.raw:Contents: Raw 3D image of the PTLResolution: 205 × 500 × 500 voxelsVoxel size: 3.9 µm (in each dimension)Encoding: uint16 img@binarized_res@205x500x500_vxl@3.9x3.9x3.9_uint8.raw:Contents: Binarized 3D image of the PTLInterpretation: solid = 1, voidage = 0Resolution: 205 × 500 × 500 voxelsVoxel size: 3.9 µm (in each dimension)Encoding: uint8
