This work deals with those syntactic structures that languages use to focus one of the phrasal constituents. Dislocation, frontalization or anteposition of a sentence constituent are all examples of the focalizing discursive mechanism that allows the speaker to communicate more effectively and to adapt the speech to specific purposes and recipients. Becoming accustomed to an appropriate and self-confident use of this information structure falls precisely within a model of linguistic learning aimed at the development and empowerment of communicative competences: this is a crucial objective both for the normal working activities and for the interactions in sociocultural contexts even more complex.
