Data from the NRI Nature Index Publication Preferences Survey 2024

This is the data from the global multi-disciplinary survey of academic authors on their preferences of high-quality publication venues which was conducted for Nature Index (part of Nature Research Intelligence). The survey responses were used to create rankings of publication venues in four disciplines: applied sciences, natural sciences, health sciences, and humanities and social sciences. The repo includes the anonymised raw and cleaned responses, publication venue metadata, anonymised author metadata, design and calibration weights, journal preference weights, and other data used for the processing of the survey responses.Information about the datasets and the methodology can be found in this Colab notebook.
