Root-associated microbiota of banana mother and suckers plants

Bacterial and fungal communities inhabiting the rhizosphere and root endosphere of banana plants in different developmental stages (mother and sucker plants) in two different farms located in Tenerife island (Canary Islands, Spain), in two consecutive years. The main of the works was to decipher the shifts in the microbiota associated to the different phenological stages. We also sought to describe the microbial community that is inherited from mothers to suckers.
