The purpose of this thesis is to examine the relationship between dialogic teaching and student academic achievement as well as creative thinking. The dataset contains the transcripts from classroom video recordings and student self-reported questionnaires, all collected from primary schools in an economically developed city in eastern China. Based on these data, this thesis employs quantitative and qualitative analyses to explore the associations between dialogic teaching practices and students' learning achievement and creative thinking.
