Seismic performance and loss assessment of buildings designed with ductile steel seismic force-resisting systems and with controlled rocking braced frames

Three different building heights (3, 6, and 12 stories) were designed using four steel seismic force-resisting systems (SFRSs): special moment-resisting frames (SMRFs), special concentrically braced frames (SCBFs), buckling-restrained braced frames (BRBFs), and controlled rocking braced frames (CRBFs). Design specifications, median responses (including drifts and accelerations obtained through Multiple Stripe Analyses), and seismic loss assessment results were provided for each designed building.
