To investigate the role of epigenetic modifications H3K27me3 and h3r17me2 in aging. To clarify the relationship between H3R17me2 and H3K27me3, we performed chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (ChIP-seq) experiments targeting H3R17me2 and H3K27me3 in 3-day-old w1118 control, 3-day-old LKRSDHMB01942 mutant, 40-day-old w1118 control and 40-day-old LKRSDHMB01942 mutant flies to obtain maps of H3R17me2 and H3K27me3 distribution along chromosomes.
