Map Viewing Service (WMS) of the dataset: Potential quantitative imbalance basins

Potential quantitative imbalance basins are parts of groundwater bodies (Map 24) or catchment areas of surface water bodies (Map 25) experiencing recurrent sampling imbalances and likely to affect their good quantitative or ecological status.The imbalance is estimated on the basis of the sampling data from annual volume declarations for the collection point charge over the period 2008-2012. On the 2 maps, the representation scale is the watershed of stream water bodies.Map 24: Parts of groundwater bodiesThe map of groundwater BDQPs crosses 2 indicators:- the sampling/recharge ratio;- the piezometric trend of the groundwater body sectors.Map 25: Parts of surface water bodiesThe map of the underground BDQPs crosses 3 indicators:- the summer flow (QMNA5) reported to surface and underground water abstractions;- the rate of dependence of streams on water supply;- the hydrological impact of groundwater abstractions on fish habitat.In both cases, the magnitude of the imbalance is reflected in an overall indicator between 0 and 3:- Strong imbalance: indicator = 2 or 3;- Disbalance: indicator = 1;- No imbalance: indicator = 0In case of absence of data or alluvial basins, the pools are displayed in “Lack of data”.Transition basins are displayed in the “No imbalance” category (indicator = 0).
