Data for: Elemental reorganization after exposure to extreme resource pulses: material implications of a blood meal in ticks

This dataset contains the elemental composition measurements underlying the manuscript "Elemental reorganization after exposure to extreme resource pulses: material implications of a blood meal in ticks" submitted to Physiological Entomology. The dataset includes biological replicate measurements from two ixodid tick species (Amblyomma americanum and Dermacentor variabilis), both sexes, and fed and unfed physiological states. Whole-body elemental concentrations were determined using inductively coupled plasma analysis. The archived files include the raw elemental concentration data, sample metadata, and documentation describing the variables and experimental design. These data support all statistical analyses, figures, and tables presented in the associated publication.
