DNA methylation repatterning in nascent segmental rice polyploids

We report extensive regional repatterning of DNA methylation and genome-wide changes of gene expression in progenies of a synthetic rice segmental allotetraploid due to the combined effects of hybridization, whole genome duplication and homoeologous exchanges (HEs).
