GRID release 2018-08-27

A database of over 89,000 research institutes with persistent identifiers. Institutes added from various sources including Korea, India and other international datasets. Metadata: - Added around 7,000 Wikidata IDs to GRID records. QA: - Review of non-English Wikipedia links. - Review of Wellcome Trust institutes and centers (source data mappings, relationships). - Review of companies from Russian and Chinese sources. Note: the geonames information is from geonames.org and licensed as CC-BY 3.0.
