Mangrove wetlands play a crucial role in carbon sequestration, however, the contributions of bacterial communities to carbon fixation in these ecosystems are often overlooked, which seriously hinders a precise assessment of blue carbon sequestration. This study systematically investigated the pathways, rates, and influential factors of bacterial carbon fixation in mangrove wetland, using sediments at various tidal zones and sediment depths.
