De-identified dataset and supporting materials for: The Use of GenAI in University Exams

This record contains the de-identified research data and supporting materials for the study entitled “The Use of GenAI in University Exams: Content and Sentiment Analysis Study.” The study examines student perceptions of using generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools in university exams. In a mixed-methods design, 49 fourth-year Computer Science students completed a final exam with GenAI assistance while working with a 10,000-row dataset. Data were collected through semi-structured responses and analysed using content analysis and lexicon-based sentiment analysis (SWNetTR++). This deposit includes processed and de-identified materials prepared to support transparency and reproducibility, such as:- de-identified/processed dataset Raw qualitative responses are not publicly shared in full due to ethical and privacy considerations.
