This register contains a list of all annual leases for pastoral purposes as offered at auction in the Land District of Hillston. It was kept by the Hillston Land Office.The purpose of this series was to make a record of what land had been offered for annual lease and who had bought such leases. It records information such as the lot number, lease number, date when offered at auction, the County and Parish, the size, annual rent, date of selection, name of person to whom sold or by whom selected, the number of the folio or page of the lease register, and any remarks.
