Writs of attachment relate to requests by the court for the Sheriff to arrest a person who is accused of disobedience of a court order, or contempt of court. Included in this series are writs of attachment relating to divorce, bankruptcy and probate, writs of Capias ad respondium (Ca re), and writs of Capias ad satisfaciendum (Ca sa).
