Transcriptional changes induced by Lamin A/C downregulation in the nuclei of B16F10 melanoma cells

Major transcriptional changes (300 differentially expressed genes) take place upon downregulation of Lamin A/C in B16F10 melanoma cells Lamin A and lamin C expression in the nuclei of the B16F10 melanoma cells were downregulated by stable introduction of a lamin A/C shRNA construct., resulting in an expected increase in nuclear deformability and squeezing capacities in our melanoma cell model. RNA was isolated from both shControl and shLmna B16F10 cells for transcriptome analysis via MARS-seq sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.
