Presurgical Phase IIB Trial of Oral CDB-4124 (TPA) vs. Placebo in Women with Stage 0-II Primary Breast Cancer: PACT-B (Progesterone Antagonists for Cancer Treatment for Breast) Study

Purposes: 1. to identify the genes which were significantly modulated by CDB-4124 (TPA) comapred to placebo treatment. 2. identify which the pathways were functionally impacted by CDB4124. Overall design: A total of 60 patients were treated with either placebo control (n=29 ) or CDB-4124 (TPA)(n=31) for 2- 4 weeks prior to surgery. Two FFPE samples per subject (pre-Tx and post-Tx tumor specimen) were subjected to RNA extraction and RNA seq. Pre-Tx sample was a diagnostic core needle biopsy. Post-Tx sample was a surgical specimen. A total of 120 total RNA samples are submitted for RNA seq. ----------------------- Artificial Intelligene (AI, www.artificialintelligene.com)
