Resveratrol and rutin ameliorate ulcerative colitis in mice by affecting the polarized development of intestinal epithelial T cells

DSS-induced mice were gavaged with resveratrol or rutin, and the gene expression levels of intestinal epithelial cells were analyzed by transcriptome sequencing based on phenotypic assessment, which revealed significant changes in the polarization of Th17 and Treg cells compared with the control group. This suggests that resveratrol and rutin can alleviate UC symptoms in mice by affecting the polarized development of intestinal epithelial T cells.
