The Batik-plays-Mozart Corpus is a high-quality piano performance dataset created by the Institute of Computational Perception. It comprises 36 movements from 12 Mozart piano sonatas performed by Vienna-based pianist Roland Batik. In addition to providing MIDI files and audio recordings, the dataset precisely aligns each individual note with the newly edited Mozart score, and links to musicological annotations including harmony, cadence, and phrase structure. Developed via precise note-level alignment and expert annotation, this dataset serves as a valuable resource for researching the relationship between musical expressivity and structural aspects, particularly within the field of Music Information Retrieval (MIR).
