This study aimed to quantify differences in gene expression between male and female copepods during acute heat stress.Several egg sacs were hatched together and individual larvae isolated across 24-well plates and raised to age 25-days.For each sex, sets of 15-20 individuals were pooled and exposed to a control (20C) or stressful temperature (33C) for 60 minutes.Six batches of paired control-heat stress replicates were run for each sex.
