Mouse gene expression following induction of DSBs

RNA-seq was used to characterize gene expression in mice following generation of DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs) by injection of adenovirus containing a tetracyclin-induced restriction endonuclease. Upon administration of doxycycline in their drinking water, the restriction enzyme was expressed, leading to DNA DSBs. Control mice were injected with the adenovirus but did not receive doxycycline.
