In an attempt to make a Cre-deleter expressing Cre in the kidney from a Pax8 transgene we identified a mouse line that developed a diabetes-like phenotype. In an attempt to map the transgene insertion and to identify the mutated gene we have whole-genome sequenced this mouse.
