Microbial community (bacteria and fungi) in agro-based spent mushroom compost substrate and surrounding soil

The aim of this study was to investigate the response of soil microbial community composition to different cultivation years between in the growing substrate and surrounding soil environment in the greenhouses tomato (Lycopersicum L.) field on the Loess Plateau in China (35.87.84N, 111.28.91E). The experiment was laid out under three treatments that implemented as the cultivation years involving of one-year, three-years, seven-years, and control treatments of continuous mono-cropping soil (Soil CK) and non-planting SMC substrates (Sub CK).
