资源简介:
These data files provide model output (extinction, scattering, polarized extinction, emission, polarized emission, and spinning dust emission) integrated over a fiducial size distribution. Currently, only the size distribution from Hensley & Draine 2022, corresponding to a high latitude line of sight in the Milky Way with RV = 3.1, is available. Please cite Hensley & Draine 2022 if using these data. Please also consider citing the paper where the astrodust dielectric function was derived (Draine & Hensley 2021) and the paper deriving the observational constraints used to calibrate the model (Hensley & Draine 2021). The fits files are structured as follows, as explained in the "Comment" fields of the relevant HDUs. The size distribution is defined on a grid of 167 effective radius bins. The quantities in the subsequent HDUs, having been integrated over the size distribution, are provided on a grid of 1000 wavelengths. The emission and polarized emission quantities are provided as 1000x91 multi-dimensional arrays corresponding to wavelength (HDU 6) and log10 U (HDU 5). Values for astrodust and PAHs are provided separately for each quantity, and their sum is given as well. All quantities are given per H atom, which can be converted to dust mass using MAd/MH = 0.00642 and MPAH/MH = 0.000659 as can be derived from the size distribution. HDU 0: Information on file structure HDU 1: Size Distribution, f_ion, f_align HDU 2: Extinction HDU 3: Scattering HDU 4: Polarized Extinction HDU 5: log10 U values for emission HDU 6: Wavelength values for emission HDU 7: Emission HDU 8: Polarized Emission HDU 9: Spinning Dust Emission A Jupyter notebook illustrating use of these files is available on Github ("model_file_tutorial.ipynb"). Finally, we also provide all data as plaintext files in the zipped directory.
