Public Knowledge, Attitude and Perception on Rice Biotechnology Research in the Philippines

The study conducted pulse surveys among rice biotechnology stakeholders with the aim of measuring the level of public awareness of rice biotechnology; determining the attitude and perception of the key persons in research institution, universities, mass media, religious groups, farmer groups and other public and private organizations and draw some policy recommendations on awareness of rice biotechnology and commercialization of its products.
