Therapeutic areas for approved chemical drug IND applications in China 2021

In 2021, the Chinese Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved 1,310 Investigational New Drug (IND) applications of chemical drugs. Almost half of all approvals were granted to antineoplastic drugs. A considerable number of drugs treating skin diseases, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) disorders, circulatory diseases, and digestive system conditions were also approved for general use.

于2021年，中国国家药品监督管理局（NMPA）批准了1310项化学药物的新药临床试验申请（IND）。其中，近半数的批准授予了抗肿瘤药物。此外，治疗皮肤病、耳鼻喉（ENT）疾病、循环系统疾病及消化系统疾病的药物亦获准普遍应用。
