This dataset contains raw and processed data for studying configurational determinants of scientific innovation in 206 high-level research teams funded by the NSFC (approved 2007–2009, completed by 2024). It includes Web of Science publication records, InCites-derived collaboration indicators, SciSciNet precomputed novelty and disruption metrics, and a de-identified team-level dataset with all condition and outcome variables used in the fsQCA analysis.
