Cluster and galaxy interactions in dense environment: Shapley supercluster core

The Shapley Supercluster core hosts a remarkably dense structure showing threegalaxy clusters A3562 A3558, A3556 and two galaxy groups SC1327312,SC1329313 connected to each other by a filament of hot gas and galaxies. Thisproposal aims at completing archive data in order to cover continously thisfilamentary structure. A combined analysis of Xray data and optical surveyswill enable us to investigate thermodynamics of the ICM overcoming group andcluster interactions in the area, and constrain the influence of galaxyICMinteractions in the global budget of the environmental effects affecting galaxyevolution.
