WTBs2025: wind turbine blades surface defect high-quality image dataset construction and performance validation

Original WTBs2025 is comprise of 7,316 annotated images covering nine defect types: paint crack (447 images), protective film damage (549 images), lightning strike (57 images), coating detachment (1,085 images), erosion (2,799 images), oil leakage (520 images), pinhole (569 images), surface stain (263 images), and localized damage (1,027 images). Among them, the number of lightning strike reaches 285 after two enhancements, and there are 7544 images in WTBs2025. This dataset is of great value for projects focused on surface defect detection of WTB.
