IMPROVEMENT OF MEASURES FOR THE PREVENTION OF COMPLICATIONS AND REHABILITATION AFTER ANORECTAL MALFORMATIONS IN CHILDREN

The postoperative period after surgical treatment of anorectal malformations in children is considered an important stage of the overall treatment process. Practical experience shows that limiting management only to surgical intervention in many cases does not lead to satisfactory functional outcomes [1]. The development of postoperative anorectal insufficiency significantly reduces the child’s quality of life [9]. Therefore, in modern pediatric surgery, special attention is paid to the prevention of complications and rehabilitation issues [7]. Proper organization of preventive measures and step-by-step rehabilitation play an important role in improving functional results [1,9].
