In this study we molecularly profiled microbial communities of Sargassum fluitans III with16S/18S V4-5 NextSeq sequencing in a six-day growth experiment where nitrate and phosphate were supplied. Buckets were filled with natural seawater (control), an addition of nitrate, phosphate or a combination. Samples from the apical tip of S. fluitans III were taken at days 0, 3 and 6.
