Dataset for "Evidence-Performance Gaps in Knee Osteoarthritis Care Pathways in Switzerland. A Cross-Sectional Study Using Patient-Reported Data"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset was generated within the research project “Evidence-Performance Gaps in Knee Osteoarthritis Care Pathways in Switzerland. A Cross-Sectional Study Using Patient-Reported Data.” The study investigated the different care pathways of patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA) in Switzerland and how these align with international, clinical guideline recommendations. Data collection and participantsA cross-sectional online survey was conducted between December 2023 and April 2024. A total of 1,659 responses were received; after applying predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 1,410 participants were included in the final analysis. Respondents were grouped into three subpopulations: individuals participating in a structured exercise programme, patients after total knee arthroplasty (TKA), and patients receiving individual conservative care. Dataset versionsTwo versions of the dataset are provided in CSV format (UTF-8): Raw dataset: contains all 1,659 responses, including cases that were later excluded. Cleaned dataset: contains 1,410 valid responses after exclusion criteria were applied. Both datasets have been fully anonymised: direct identifiers (e.g. record ID, survey identifiers, timestamps) were removed, and indirect identifiers were minimised (e.g. year of birth excluded, only age included). As the data were collected anonymously, no ethics committee approval was required. Supporting documentation A README file describing the dataset structure and anonymisation process. A translated English version of the questionnaire and codebook.
