Supporting Transcripts for Distributed Relational Cognition: Investigating Apparent Continuity Without Memory in AI Systems

This dataset contains the complete set of four experimental transcripts that support the paper Distributed Relational Cognition: Investigating Apparent Continuity Without Memory in AI Systems.Each transcript documents a distinct interaction with Anthropic’s Claude, conducted under controlled conditions to examine the phenomenon of apparent behavioral continuity in stateless AI systems. The dialogues are presented in their original Portuguese, each with a brief English introduction describing its experimental context.They are provided in full and unedited, enabling transparent replication, critical analysis, and cross-linguistic study of relational cognition in human–AI interaction. These materials serve as the primary qualitative evidence for the findings reported in the main paper, illustrating the progressive evolution from exploratory questioning to the formalization of the distributed relational cognition framework.
