Integrative Characterization of Aeromonas jandaei Associated with Mass Mortality in Shing (Heteropneustes fossilis): Virulence Phenotypes and Whole-Genome Insights

This project investigates the bacterial pathogen Aeromonas jandaei, responsible for mass mortality in the Shing fish (Heteropneustes fossilis), through challenge assays and whole-genome sequencing. This study aims to improve understanding of the disease, its rapid detection, and management strategies to support sustainable Shing fish aquaculture in Bangladesh.
