Data for "Global distribution of microwhip scorpions (Arachnida: Palpigradi)"

Occurrences used in the analysis (Occurrence_points.csv) and dataset for calculating the species-people correlation (Sampling_bias.csv). Note that a curated distribution database of palpigrades will be published in an associated data paper (Souza et al., <i>in preparation</i>).<br>Both database are semicolon-delimited (;) csv tables.<br>Variables explanation:<br>GenSp = Genus and species;<br>GenSp2_clean = Cleaned Genus and species as used in the analysis;<br>Ecology = either soil- or cave-dwelling; see main text for details<br>Alien = is the occurrence referring to an human-transported record?
